NOTES

  1. Auditions will include:

    1. Singing a prepared one-minute selection (e.g. 32 bars of a fast paced piece or 16 bars of a ballad) in the style of the show. Selections from Annie are welcome. Bring sheet music or a backing track, an accompanist will be provided.

    2. Learning a short dance choreography combination.

    3. Reading from the script.

  2. There are 39 characters who have lines or sing in this play, and only 6 leads. We have a lot of very talented people auditioning for those 6 leads and we hope that everyone will be open to any part in the play.  Imagine how amazing this play will be with talented people in every role.

  3. Due to the nature of the classical script and story, all lead roles will be cast based on the age, sex, and vocal ranges listed below.

  4. There will be a live dog on stage for a couple scenes. Please make us aware if you have allergies and we will keep you separated. Annie is the main person who interacts with the dog on stage, but the dog will be backstage as well.
